Next up on the ALTERED Hot Guys posts is Trev.
Out of the four boys, Trev is Anna's best friend. She's divulged a lot of her secrets to him, including her feelings for Sam. Though even if Anna hadn't outright told him, Trev would have figured it out himself. He's good at reading Anna, quietly, subtly, and he knows just what she needs to hear, when she needs to hear it.
Not that he solves all her problems for her. Trev often doles out advice wrapped up in complex philosophies so Anna has to pick apart his answers for their true meanings. Trev doesn't want to make anything easy for her.
He spent a lot of his time in the lab reading biographies, anyone from Cleopatra to George Washington to John F. Kennedy. He's a huge fan of Virginia Woolf and Mark Twain, particularly Twain's lesser known stuff like Letters from the Earth and The Diaries of Adam and Eve. He has an incredibly memory, and can rattle off a line of poetry or a famous quote at a moment's notice, and often does.
He gets along really well with Cas, respects Sam, and doesn't give Nick much notice. He doesn't care for Nick's volatile attitude. Trev doesn't waste his time on anyone not willing to communicate properly, and Nick's communication skills are pretty much nil.
So, now that you know a little bit more about Trev, let's get to the interview questions.

-------------------------------------
1. If you could be any animal, what would you be?
[shrugs] An owl?
2. Let's say you're walking down the street. You're wearing a thick coat. You have a sandwich in your hand and a $20 bill in your pocket and a frail man stops you, begging for some change. Do you give him anything?
I'd give him everything I had.
3. You've won the lottery. What's the first thing you buy?
[ponders question for a while] My freedom
4. What's the one thing you couldn't live without?
The written word

Next up, the incomparable NICK. I think you will like him. :D
[Trev picture is of Milo Ventimiglia]
HI TREV! Nice to meet your sexy, intelligent self.
ReplyDeleteHe reads (okay, biographies, but he still READS), has an excellent memory and is the sweet, quietly caring best friend? I'm beginning to wonder if I'll be able to actually focus on the plot in Altered, since I'll be swimming in my own puddle of drool.
I'm excited to meet Nick! And especially Sam *has stared at that picture of Henry Cavill on the right for far too long*
Hah! So glad you like Trev. :D And is drooling over hot guys so bad? Nu uh.
DeleteNick's post will be up next Monday or Tuesday! I can't wait to share. Also, Henry Cavill IS SO SEXY, but he actually only looks like Sam in one or two pictures I've found. :( And even then, he isn't a 100% match. Still, who cares. I like staring at his face!
Trev sounds like a great guy and strangely like the fact that he gives answer you have to think about and he's likes to read, which is always a huge plus :-)
ReplyDeleteSafari Poet
I have a soft spot for Trev and his complicated advice. :D Plus, who doesn't like a smart dude? Right?!
DeleteI'm loving Trev already! He sounds like the kind of character I always adore in books. I mean, who can't resist the quiet, readerly, philosophical type?!
ReplyDeleteI also LOLed at how he answered your first question uncertainly. Too cute. :P
Also, yet again, the two of us are sharing the image of an actor for characters. Small world, eh? XD
Exactly! I can't resist the quiet, super smarty pants guys, especially when they're hot!
DeleteAnd Milo. Sigh. So sexy.
Aww I always heart the best friend it seems. I like the diversity a lot of your characters have in their personalities. Makes me so excited for the book! (Like you haven't heard me say that a million times lol)
ReplyDeleteHe's like Milo??? OMG I LOVE MILO.
ReplyDeleteIf I could have a boyfriend...even a really really good best friend. I would love...for it to be Trev <3
ReplyDeleteHe's got it all, brains, compassion, he's observant, AND HE READS!~ *sigh* >/////<
Can I has him pleaseee!~
